There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life - happiness, freedom, and peace of mind - are always attained by giving them to someone else. ~ Peyton Conway March |
Parents
Now that your child has been accepted into Emory, how can parents stay involved?
The Emory Parent Giving Program provides current students’ family members with an “inside track” to the larger Emory University community. The Emory Parent Giving Program helps
keep parents in touch with what is happening on campus through a biyearly newsletter, Emory
Family as well as events such as Family Weekend and fundraising through the Parent Fund.

Dear Emory alum or friend,
When was the last time you visited Emory University?
Have you had the opportunity to witness some
of the remarkable changes taking place? Every
year the campus
becomes more beautiful and impressive, with new buildings, elegantly restored older buildings and, as always, eager young newcomers ready to learn. Emory
has firmly established itself as one of Atlanta's treasures.
Although Emory’s physical surroundings do change over the years, our core values remain the same: the outstanding quality of education students receive remains the top priority for Emory. Our faculty is of the highest caliber and continues to be the envy of universities around the country and the world. Finally,
the opportunities for our graduates have never been greater, as they enter
their adult lives well-prepared to make a difference.
All of these accomplishments are made possible through the people and organizations who believe in what Emory University represents. Gifts from our donors allow Emory to excel in its efforts to become a destination university. With each donation, Emory gains in ability to strengthen its programs, its community, and its future in the worldwide arena of top-notch research institutions, thereby pursuing a goal of disciplined excellence with greater resources.
You are a part of the university community. When you make a gift to Emory, you make it possible for students to obtain the scholarships and financial assistance to attend Emory and become the best they can be, just as you had these opportunities. It is you who create the possibilities for new classes and programs, top faculty, quality facilities, and cutting-edge computing and research technology. Your gifts are the difference between Emory being only a “good” university and being a GREAT university.
I have been a donor to Emory for many years, and it's now my privilege to volunteer
my time to work for a cause that I so strongly support. Consequently, I've
had the opportunity to learn first-hand what a wonderful institution our
university is. I invite you to join me in making a gift to Emory. You've been an integral part
of our past; now it's time to play an integral role in our future. Make a gift to Emory; it's the right thing to do. Making a gift to the Emory Annual Fund has never been easier. You may make your
gift by credit card, check, money order, electronic funds transfer, or online
via our secure Web site at: www.alumni.emory.edu/supportemory. If you would like to make your gift by phone, please call weekdays between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST at 404.727.6200.
