Emory Commencement Weekend isn't just for the University's newest alumni; the EAA welcomes alumni of any age.
Emory alumni are encouraged to help the EAA welcome the newest of alumni as they cross the Houston Mill bridge by candlelight. This tradition symbolizes their journey from students to alumni.
Support Emory's soon-to-be graduates by holding a candle near the Miller-Ward Alumni House-end of the Houston Mill bridge. Alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to greet and congratulate students “on the other side.”
See the Oxford Commencement website for a full list of activities.
Spend Sunday afternoon at the Cherry Emerson Memorial Concert. Alumni, students, parents, and friends are welcome to attend.
Alumni from the Class of 1965 and earlier will be honored at the Corpus Cordis Aureum Induction Ceremony.
Members of Corpus Cordis Aureum will receive their golden robes prior to the Commencement procession. CCA members are invited to march in the Commencement procession and sit in an honorary section at the ceremony.
See the official Emory Commencement website for a full schedule of Commencement events, inclement weather plan, visitor information, student graduation requirements, and more.
