The Emory Alumni Association’s Career Services Program features a comprehensive
career counseling and coaching service that brings together interested alumni
with our professional career coaches who are expertly trained in helping you meet and surpass
your professional goals.

In today’s fast-paced work environments, the power to drive your career direction, satisfaction, and improve your work
life is in your hands. Sometimes, though, it can be difficult to harness that
power and put it to work for you. With a career coach as your guide, you can
plan a course of action and map the strategies that will help you succeed.

The EAA’s partnership with executive career coach Jodie Land-Charlop 82Ox
85C and the Emory Career Center offers a value-added service designed for professionals who want to reach new levels of success. Our services are designed to meet the varying needs of alumni—from those at the start of their careers to high-level executives and entrepreneurs. Career Counseling & Coaching through the EAA is available to Emory alumni at a special reduced rate (compared to private services). Our professional team combines years of experience in corporate and individual counseling and coaching to help our alumni achieve desired levels of career success.

Sign up for a one-time complimentary career counseling or coaching session! Alumni deom all schools can take advantage of a one-time complimentary career evaluation session. These sessions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis with our professionals. Alumni may use this session to evaluate or discuss any aspect of professional life and also learn if career counseling and coaching can be helpful to achieving specific career goals.
• General Career Counseling—In partnership with the Emory Career Center, our services are geared to meeting
the needs of alumni who are re-evaluating their initial career choices or changing
jobs for the first time. This service also is useful for recent graduates continuing
a job search or considering graduate school. Please note, alumni within two years of graduation date have access to career counseling at no charge.
• Advanced Career Coaching—Coaching serves the needs of professionals at mid- to senior-levels in their
careers and can assist them with professional clarity, proactive career change strategies, and career management in line with individual career goals.
Career coaching services are customized to meet individual needs.
• Assessment & Career Planning Packages—Packages include industry-standard and career assessment tools. Assessment selection is based on individual needs and goals, and all tools are easily administered through a convenient web-based system. Session packages also include interpretation and appropriate follow-up sessions to use the data in a high-impact way.
