Emory alumni receive on-campus benefits

Do you have an Alumni Card?

It's easy to get one. Get an alumni card at EmoryCard Services on campus during regular business hours or request your card online. An alumni card and picture identification will serve as your ID for gaining access to the library and other alumni benefits. If you would like to use your card for access to campus libraries or to purchase a gym membership, your card must be activated at EmoryCard Services.

Alumni Card Benefits and Disclaimers

Library Access

While Emory alumni have priviliges at most campus libraries, all online databases are not available to alumni due to licensing requirements. The alumni association offers access to premium information resources online through the online community.

Rose and Woodruff Libraries

  • Want to borrow a book from Emory? You can! Alumni have lifetime library borrowing privileges (which require yearly renewal).
  • Are you on campus? Stop by the Library Service Desk on level 2 for access to a library computer. These computers provide access to major databases, the catalog, the internet, and a variety of software packages. You will be placed at a station based on your specific access needs. To print from a library computer, you can purchase a print card from the Library Service Desk.

  • Are you off campus?  You may visit the library website, access the library catalog via discoverE, or contact the library regarding privileges or services by calling 404.727.6873.

  • Have a research question?  Ask the reference staff at the Library Service Desk by calling 404.727.6873 or online via Ask a Librarian.

  • Curious about what's in Rose Library and the Woodruff Library collections? Sign up for workshops and tours
