The Michael C. Carlos Museum collects, preserves, exhibits, and interprets art and artifacts from antiquity to the present in order to provide unique opportunities for education and enrichment in the community, and to promote interdisciplinary teaching and research at Emory University. The George W. Woodruff Physical Education Center is open to all alumni with facility-use cards. Alumni memberships run a year to the day. The yearly membership fee is $250 for alumni, alumni spouses, and dependent children. The WoodPEC has undergone renovations, and facilities now include indoor tennis courts, auxiliary court area, upgraded staff/alumni locker rooms, and a new fitness corridor. Exercise on your own or participate in six-week non-credit recreational courses scheduled throughout the year. A wide variety of classes is offered, including yoga, step aerobics, indoor cycling, aikido, tae kwon do, karate, pilates, boot camp, and more.
