Miller-Ward Alumni House

The Miller-Ward Alumni House is where Emory cherishes its past, celebrates its present, and welcomes its future.

The house, Emory’s first facility specifically dedicated to serving alumni, opened in 2000, but its history dates back to the 19th century. From its elegant, Tudor-style exterior to its warm, inviting interior, the Miller-Ward Alumni House truly is home to the Emory community. Our House

The Miller-Ward Alumni House is living Emory history. Each room honors a pillar of the Emory community. Historic photos decorate every wall, and memorabilia dating to Emory’s beginnings as a small school in Oxford, GA, offers a poignant look into Emory’s past.

Emory’s present is celebrated through modern touches like state-of-the-art technology and decor that is contemporary, yet stylish. Since its opening, several of Emory’s most important traditions, like the Candlelight Crossover for graduating seniors and the induction of new members to Corpus Cordis Aureum—a group for Emory alumni who graduated at least  50 years ago—take place at the Miller-Ward Alumni House.

Now, the Miller-Ward Alumni House boldly steps into the future and welcomes the Emory community to celebrate their weddings, throw their parties, conduct their business, and hold their meetings at Emory’s most memorable, convenient, and useful venue.

Welcome home, Emory.
